You will take the Listening, Reading and Writing tests at a desk with question papers and answer sheets in our test center if you choose to sit for the paper-based IELTS option. Your responses must be handwritten in HB pencils or pen. A proficient IELTS examiner will work with you virtually during the speaking test. 

Your provisional results will be available in 7 days following the test date and your Test Report Form (in hard copy) will be available after a month from your test date. 

IELTS on Computer is now accessible at IMSL and offers a simpler, quicker test experience. What's better? You can get your results in three to five days and save yourself from heart-throbbing and never-ending wait for the result to come out. 

You can take the Academic and General Training IELTS tests on a computer with ease. In terms of content, structure, scheduling, and fairness, the IELTS computer delivered test is the same as pen-paper based test and the Speaking also remains the same, face-to-face virtual test with a qualified IELTS examiner. If you prefer typing over writing, consider choosing the computer delivered test.  

You will be provided with a cubicle comprising computer and headphones at the testing facility on the day of your exam. You are not required to bring your own laptop. 

Although the paper-based test will still be available, this computer-based version will provide candidates with more flexibility. You have more options for how to take the test  with computer-delivered IELTS. This comprises:  

• There are several sessions and test dates from monday to friday every week. All you need to do is apply for the test a week before the test date of your choice.

• Results within 2-3 days; 

• Tests for Academic and General Training .

• Headsets with noise cancellation for the listening test

• What Is The Price For The Computer-delivered IELTS test? 
  The Computer Delivered IELTS test comes with the same fee as the pen and paper based test which is Nu. 17,500. What's more? you can resit for a single module. 

However, take note that you can only sit for one module and must be within 55 days after you get the result. You must also pay a fee of Nu. 11500/- only to sit for the test. Take advantage of this perk that comes with CD IELTS.
